Have something specific in mind?
Does DrillTrack work without internet?+
Yes. After an initial online login and data refresh, the installed app can capture shifts, holes and photos offline. Work stays on that device and syncs when you reconnect. Installation and first-time setup need internet.
Can we manage more than one mine?+
Yes. DrillTrack groups mines within an organisation, with shafts, levels, crews and machines for each site. The mine switcher scopes your work, and access is assigned per mine.
How does billing and VAT work?+
Versioned rate cards support metre rates, depth bands, hourly charges and consumables. Only approved shifts are billable. Billing runs produce ZAR invoices with VAT, including a 15% default, and supporting schedules.
How is access to data controlled?+
Role-based access is enforced on the server. Crews, supervisors, managers and finance have different permissions. Rates and billing are restricted to authorised roles, and an audit trail records changes. Offline work is revalidated when it syncs.
Can crews use phones and tablets?+
Yes. DrillTrack is a web app for phones, tablets and desktops, with large capture controls and photo attachments. Install it on a supported browser for offline use.
What does onboarding involve?+
Start with your organisation and mines, then add shafts, levels, crews and rigs. Set user roles and contract rates, and refresh crew devices before going underground. Request a demo to discuss how it fits your operation.
